  • Can I cancel or amend a withdrawal?

    If your withdrawal has not already been processed it may be possible to cancel or amend it online or by calling us on 1 800 646 582. Once a withdrawal has been processed we cannot cancel or reverse it.

  • Can I make a withdrawal in someone else's name?

    You can withdraw funds from your TD Waterhouse Account in the name of someone else, by Bank Transfer. Login and go to Payments & Transfers then Payments/Withdraw.

  • Can I withdraw money in a foreign currency?

    We can make a foreign currency same day bank transfer payment (CHAPS) for you. Please telephone us on 1 800 646 582.

  • How can I take money out of my Trading Account?

    Providing you have sufficient funds cleared in your Cash Management Account you can request a withdrawal at anytime. Go to Payments & Transfers and select Payments/Withdrawals from the drop down list once you are logged in or call our Customer Services Team on 1 800 646 582.

    You can withdraw money from your account:
    By bank transfer (BACS) - You can make a payment to yourself or a third party online once you have set up a payee. To do this go to Payments & Transfers and select Payments/Withdrawals from the drop down list and select the Add Payee option. Once you have a payee set up, just click on the details to arrange a payment. A payment request must be submitted at least one working day before the payment date.

  • How do I delete a Payee from my Payee List?

    If you no longer need to pay a particular Company or a Personal Payee, go to Payments & Transfers then Payments/Withdrawals, in the table on that screen you will see your payee list. Click on the Delete button beside the Payee name that you wish to delete. Note: You can only delete a Payee if there are no outstanding payment instructions. A screen will appear asking you to review and approve your Payee deletion before processing your request. If you are satisfied with the details select Next or Back to return to the Payee list page.

  • When will my withdrawal request be processed?

    We process all withdrawal requests received before 12pm the same working day. If we receive your request after 12pm, we will process it on the next working day. A payment request must be submitted at least one working day before the payment date. You can also choose to set a payment for a future date. If you ask us to do this we will action your request on the date you set. Any future dated requests will only be processed subject to there being sufficient funds being available on the payment date.

  • Where can I see if a withdrawal has been successful?

    Once we have processed a withdrawal, we will show this on your Account History. If you have set a future date, you can call us on 1 800 646 582 to check the status of your withdrawal.
