Opening your account

- How do I open a Savings Account?
You can add a Savings Account alongside a Trading Account. To upgrade, login and visit the Account Upgrades centre (under the My Accounts menu).
- How do I open a Trading account?
To qualify for an account you must:
- be aged 18 or over,
- be resident in the Republic of Ireland and,
- hold a bank or building society account.
We will also ask for the following: full name and postal address, telephone number, email address, date of birth, nationality and debit card. If you are applying for an account in joint names, full information will need to be provided for both parties.
- How do I open a Derivatives trading account?
To open a CFD or FSB account with TD Waterhouse, go to Getting Started and click on Open an Account, click on the link to open a derivatives account online and follow the instructions.
