SINGAPORE (Dow Jones)--Brunei Shell Petroleum has posted its Seria Light crude oil official selling price at US$75.41 a barrel retroactively for January term supply, a decrease of $4.61 from the previous month, a company official said Tuesday.
The company also reduced its January OSP for Champion crude by the same amount to US$75.26 a barrel.
The cuts are well within traders' expectations, after Malaysia's state-owned Petroliam Nasional Bhd. reduced its January OSP for Tapis--the regional light, sweet benchmark crude--by a similar amount.
Brunei Shell Petroleum, the only oil and natural gas producer in the sultanate, is an equal joint venture between Royal Dutch Shell PLC (RDSB.LN) and the state of Brunei.
